No Regrets

Everything happens for a reason.

Even things you may not want to mention.

Everything that has happened in your life…

Makes you who you are today.

Therefore --- I am happy with myself today.

I have no regrets…

My good choices

Have enriched my life.

And my bad choices

Were a lesson learned.

I have been both blessed and burned…

Striking me with resilience --- I have yearned.

And with growing wisdom…

From everything I have endured.

All my ailments have been cured.

And a life without problems --- Is just absurd.

A bland life, with every word.

At least I have a story to tell…

In my life’s heaven --- And my life’s hell.

And as you know, I’m doing well…

Because of everything in my life --- That has befell!
